Thanks for reaching out about this. This problem has appeared recently with users who have aol.com email addresses. It has been found to be an issue with the way the AOL servers are handling the email. You will need to contact your email provider (AOL) directly and tell them that email from submittable.com is not being received to your email address. The error message we are receiving is " 499 unable to connect to MX server". You can give this message to the provider and hopefully that will help them clear things up for you.
In the interim, if you happen to have another email account, I would suggest linking that to your Submittable account. This will insure that you can still receive email notifications when they are sent, until AOL remedies the issue.
