IE browser - Why are candidates' files not displaying?

If you are having trouble viewing documents in Internet Explorer, you should try following these steps:

Add Talentd and Google to your "Trusted Sites" security zone:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on Tools -> Internet Options (for IE version 9 click the gear symbol in the upper right-hand corner of the screen)
  3. Open the Security tab
  4. Select the Trusted sites zone
  5. Click the Sites button. A Trusted sites dialog box will open. Make sure that the Require server verification... box at the bottom of the box is checked. 
  6. In the Add this website to the zone: textbox, 
  7. You should see a textbox that says Add this website to the zone. In that box, type * and click Add (supports older sites).
  8. Type * and click Add (supports newer sites)
  9. Type * and click Add
  10. Click Close and try viewing a document again

Delete potentially corrupt Google Docs cookies:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Click on Tools -> Internet Options (for IE version 9 click the gear symbol in the upper right-hand corner of the screen)
  3. In the General tab, under Browsing history, click the Settings button
  4. In the Website Data Settings window, click the View files button
  5. IE will open a Windows Explorer window with all of your temporary internet files, in the search bar, type "" and press enter to see if it finds any files
  6. If any files are found, delete them by selecting the file and pressing the "DEL" key on your keyboard (or, right-click the file and choose "delete").
  7. Close all open windows and try viewing documents in Talentd.

Try logging out of your Google account

If you have a Google account, try going to Google and signing out, and then try viewing docs again in Talentd.
